Blockhead Beerworks

Details:
Blockhead Beerworks reached out for custom character illustrations to be used for marketing and promotional imagery, including my take on the Blockhead bear. Additional work included designing the block logo and block variants featured in the restaurant’s exterior and interior signage and staff apparel.

Can labels were also designed and developed for some of Blockhead’s unique craft brews. They include custom illustrations and a bright, clean color palette based around the signature Blockhead bear.

Logo Design

The Blockhead blocks were created as a simple, clean option for apparel/print materials and were paired with the existing “Blockhead Beerworks” typography.

The blocks are featured throughout the restaurant/brewstillery and on staff apparel.

Label Design

Crowler labels were designed using the signature Blockhead bear. To tailor the can design, while maintaining a visually clean and consistent lineup, a bright color palette was created and used for each can. The bear was slightly modified to then match the color palette and flavor theme.

Custom Illustration Custom illustrations were created to sit on top of the blocks and coordinate with each unique flavor, as well as the modified Blockhead bear.

Blockhead wanted a fun take on their signature bear, as well as additional characters and concepts. Working with the client, stylized animal characters were developed.
